We started JoBound in early 2026 after struggling to find roles ourselves. The promise was everywhere, but the results were not.
The problem we could not ignore.
We tried the sites that claimed to surface hard-to-find, up-to-date posts. At first they looked promising, but over time the listings went stale. In today's market, an old post is a lost chance.
With so many engineers searching, you have to apply early to get your resume seen in the flood of applicants. We could not find a replacement that solved that problem.
Early 2026
We built the data engine we wished existed.
After not finding a real solution, we figured out how to capture more data and do it faster. The results shocked us. The listings were significantly more current and more complete than anything we had tried.
What we stand for now.
We pushed forward because the outcome was too good to keep to ourselves. JoBound is now the tool we wanted during our own job search.
